You perform a divination, attempting to learn about any hidden traps or unknown dangers that lie in front of you if you or a character who is present during the performance of the ritual take a specific course of action during the current event or the next Round of Downtime.
Depending on the nature of the question, the answer(s) may be delivered in a vision within the next few hours (a note from Wheelhouse before the end of the day), a dream within the next day or two (a note picked up from Wheelhouse sometime during the event), or a dream sometime in the coming months (an email from Wheelhouse detailing the vision two weeks before the start of the next event).
The more general your questions, and the longer the time horizon on your course of action, the more vague the answers you will receive. For example, if you ask about any threats or traps someone may encounter in a skirmish during the current event, you’ll get a fairly accurate answer describing them. If you ask about the threats awaiting if you enact a plan that will take three years to see to fruition, you’ll get a vision that is mostly fortune-cookie metaphors, with few concrete answers, if any.
