You conjure an entity from the Heavens, Hells, or Far Realms, and bind it to remain within a summoning circle for up to five minutes, at which point it returns to its plane of origin. This ritual does not bind the entity to obey you or to answer your questions, nor does it prevent the creature from harming you or lying to you — it only binds the creature to remain on Mundus within the circle for the duration, and keeps any magical effects caused by or physical belongings of the entity contained within the circle.
If this ritual is performed outside of Veilguard, its required Ritual Power is doubled.
You must inform Wheelhouse of your intent to perform this ritual, as well as who/what you wish to conjure and why. The earlier you inform Wheelhouse the better, as it gives us more time to find someone to play the NPC you’re summoning and plan out what that NPC’s character is like.
Prismatic effect: If the mages performing this ritual have amongst their number mastery of both the Druathan and Oruunari Prismatica ritual lists, the maximum duration of the summoning is increased to 10 minutes.
There are stronger versions of this ritual, which shackle extraplanar creatures and bind them to an unscrupulous mage’s service. Such rituals are not widely disseminated, and many religious and arcane organizations actively try to stamp them out whenever a copy is discovered.
