Disaster upon disaster, ruin and destruction piled atop one another. Storms that level forests, earthquakes that shatter cities, fires to burn the world to a cinder, locusts that devour crops and livestock alike. More, and more, and more. Nature itself has decreed that nothing shall survive, no stone shall remain atop another, and woe betide any mortal who does not flee before the doom that approaches.
This ritual was developed by the arch-druids of Grimmwold’s Elder Pact as a last-ditch weapon against the forces of the Old Gods. It has been used only once, during the Leviathan Churning, to wipe out the Feruxian infestation on the forested isle of Belleneau in the Southern Seas. It is only taught to senior members of the Elder Pact and to any Veilwalkers who wish to learn it. Its misuse would very likely be seen as a declaration of war by the nation it was used upon.
You target one Province with this ritual. You must deliver the Curse Card for this ritual to an Envoy of the Nation containing that Province or to a Veilwalker whose Enterprise is located within the targeted Province for it to have an effect.
All Regions in the targeted Province take -30 Economy and Security damage at the start of each Round of Downtime.
At the end of the Early Campaign Season Phase and Late Campaign Season Phase in each Round of Downtime all Forces in the targeted Region take 30 damage.
All Military Units and Cultist Cells operating in the Province suffer 50 damage at the start of each Round of Downtime.
The effects of this ritual last for 4 Rounds of Downtime, until you remove the Curse, or until the Curse is broken, whichever comes first.
If this ritual is performed outside of Veilguard, its required Ritual Power is quadrupled.
