The Daughters of Vestra are a scourge to the wicked and a terrifying specter to the powerful, charged by Vestra, one of the Heralds of Elemi, to ensure that no one who abuses women goes unpunished. Their magics — carefully kept secrets due to how disruptive they might be if they were to become widely known — allow them to extract confessions from those who inflict sexual violence on others.

They police all levels of society, across all nations, and are not afraid to go after kings or emperors if need be. They mandate that all crimes they unveil be punished according to their severity and without regard to the station or wealth of the perpetrator, and their political and social influence and paramilitary forces have repeatedly been proven powerful enough to make kingdoms and empires accept that decree.

They have no interest in other crimes, and only use their magics to extract confessions on the crimes they are charged with policing — they believe that to do more than this would be to threaten their ability to perform their duty as widely and openly as they currently do.

Their Continent-wide presence and single-mindedness in pursuing their agenda has made it effectively impossible for rape, assault, and similar abuses to go unchecked in the known world, enforcing an awareness of the necessity for consent on every level of society.

Note to Players: The Daughters of Vestra are intended as an NPC organization, and your characters cannot belong to the organization. You can have in your backstory that your character is a supporter of the Vestran cause, but your character cannot be a member. Vestrans will only rarely appear in-game, if ever, simply because there’s no way for their magical truth-detection & confession-extracting abilities to actually work in a LARP context outside of specifically-planned events. Their impact is intended to be felt on a societal scale, not something that you have to deal with in-game. The purpose of the organization is to have an in-world reason why sexual violence (towards any gender) is so rare and harshly and effectively punished.
