Until the start of its first Action during the next Round of Downtime, the Force gains a +20% Combat Strength Multiplier when it is attacked. This effect does not stack with itself.

Until the start of its first Action during the next Round of Downtime, the Force can substitute itself for any other Force that is attacked by an enemy within the same Region, forcing that enemy to engage it instead of the enemy’s original target.

If the Force is not a Dreadhorde, then until the start of the Recovery phase, the Security of the Region that the Force is located in is temporarily increased by 1% of the Force’s Effective Combat Strength. Once this effect ends, the Region’s Security returns to its previous level or remains at its current level, whichever is lower. (Functionally, the Force acts as a shield that absorbs a limited amount of damage to the Region’s Security before fading away.)

All of these effects immediately end if the Force leaves the Region it used this Action in.
