You place a curse upon five target characters, who must all be present for the entire performance of the ritual.
The targets suffer from the Envenomed condition. This condition cannot be removed through any means until the target is freed from the curse.
The effects of this ritual last until the end of the next event or until the curse is broken. You cannot remove this curse from the targets prematurely.
At the start of the next Round of Downtime, five Cultist Cells of your choice suffer 20 damage each. If this damage destroys one or more of the targeted Cultist Cells, the targets of this ritual receive 1 Tzacanthe and 2 Witherroot in their player packets at the start of the next event.
This ritual can only be performed in Veilguard or a site that is particularly holy to Druathos. If it is performed outside of Veilguard, the Ritual Power requirement is quadrupled.
Roleplaying Effects
The targets feel a stabbing pain in their abdomen, alongside the phantom sensation of their guts being swollen and hot to the touch. Examination by a Physick reveals this to not be the case, but the targets still feel as if some internal organ is badly infected and causing them pain. The pain is not excruciating or debilitating, but it’s bad enough to make them double over and groan in pain every so often.
