A natural temple of sorts, this towering mound of lava rock has a seemingly-endless series of stone tubes and chambers within and beneath it, all kept comfortably warm by the volcano Spirit, Eldvindr. Aggressive fire and stone elementals roam the corridors and caverns of the Kiln, but those who can delve deep enough eventually find a shrine to the volcano Spirit. Taking pride of place in that chamber is an altar of rough-hewn basalt, where it is customary to leave an offering of grain and mead to ensure another year of cooperation from the great Spirit; those who manage this feat are rewarded with a handsome bounty of ore by Eldvindr, and a feast when they return to Ofnabar, the town that sits a few miles east of the Kiln.
