You query the gods, divining whether a person has become corrupted by the Old Gods or has some other black mark on their soul. This reveals how much Scriptural Madness an Elf has accumulated, as well as other mechanical- or roleplay-based corruption effects; it cannot reveal the target character’s loyalties or whether they intend to serve the Old Gods, only whether they are under the Old Gods’ supernatural influence.
When you register this ritual with Wheelhouse, the Wheelhouse team will go through their records to see if there is anything that this ritual will uncover. This process may take some time, but should be completed by the next day at the latest. Note that if there is any evidence of corruption that is outside of Wheelhouse’s records (i.e. secrets kept amongst players or events that haven’t been brought to Wheelhouse’s attention yet), this ritual may not reveal it to you.
