You have been granted title to and management of a farm, orchard, ranch, or fishery somewhere in your nation. Whether you grow crops, fruit, animals, or something more exotic, some of the output of your farm (in the form of coins and Grainmarks) is yours to do with as you please.
Grainmarks are critical in many nations’ National Resource Quests, and so are often in high demand.
A Farm starts at Level 10, and its output can be increased or decreased by changing its Level, whether permanently or temporarily.
You can increase your Farm’s Level permanently (”upgrading” it) by bringing 5 Silvermarks, 5 Tzacanthe, and 5 Witherroot to Wheelhouse. You can only upgrade your Farm once per event, and the cost of Upgrading it goes up by +5 Silvermarks and +5 Witherroot for every level your Farm is above 10.
Some catastrophic events can permanently decrease your Farm’s level. Repairing the damage caused by such an event requires the expenditure of a flat 5 Silvermarks and 5 Tzacanthe per level you wish to restore.
