A vast rolling plain of gold and green grasses which folds in on itself, confounding all but the best trackers and trail-markers. Predators stalk the grasses, but the greatest danger is getting lost and dying of hunger, thirst, or simple exhaustion. Valuable herbs and magically-potent trees grow in small groves dotting the plains, and for those able to dig down through the incredibly tough and dense roots of the grasses (and who know where to dig) there are rich seams of coal and metal ore to be found in the stone beneath.
