A loose association of merchants, effectively a non-gendered fraternity that enables and facilitates merchants, traders, and smugglers in their efforts to communicate and make deals.

Members of the Golden Wheel wear coins sewn somewhere on their person, hanging in a string and set so that the coins jingle when they walk. The number and denomination of coins denote how successful a merchant is and how senior they are in the Wheel’s byzantine hierarchy.

Note to Players: If you wish to become a member of the Golden Wheel, it costs 2 Talons per event in membership fees to remain in good standing, due before the end of each event. If your membership ever lapses, it costs 4 Talons to buy your way back into the organization. In exchange, you gain a 10% discount on resources purchased from the Golden Wheel vendor, and access to Golden Wheel quests and rumors. You can choose to have your character start the game as a member of the Golden Wheel without paying any in-game fees until you attend an event.
