Grieve The Children Gone To War


A call has gone out, though only the young can hear it. A call to action, to war. They flock to the mustering field, the young and callow, the children just become grown. They bring their parents’ swords and their pot helms, and dream of duty and a safe home to return to, some day. Though the old soldiers weep inside at the waste, nonetheless they still welcome the children into their ranks, for when the horns of war blow there will always be a need for fresh blood to be spilled.


You target one Force with this ritual. You must deliver the Curse Card for this ritual to an Envoy of the Nation which controls that Force or to a character who has been granted command of that Force for it to have an effect.

The targeted Force is healed for +50 HP at the start of the next Round of Downtime.

The targeted Force either temporarily loses the Veteran or Elite Traits, or if it has neither of those Traits it temporarily gains the Green Trait.

The effects of this ritual last until the end of the next Round of Downtime or until the Curse is broken, whichever comes first. You cannot end the Curse prematurely on your own.

If this ritual is performed outside of Veilguard, its required Ritual Power is quadrupled.
