Grim Tale Of The Ensorcelled Prince

You place a curse upon a target character.

The target cannot benefit from Sorceries, Elixirs, or Tonics. Any active Personal Sorcery, Elixir, or Tonic effects on them are immediately dispelled when the curse is applied to them. If a Personal Sorcery is cast upon them while they suffer from this curse, the ritual finishes as normal but the Sorcery is immediately dispelled from them. If they consume an Elixir or Tonic, they gain any instantaneous effects from that item but any lasting effects that it would grant to them are immediately dispelled.

The effects of this ritual last until the end of the next event, until you choose to remove it, or until the curse is broken.

Roleplaying Effects

The target gains a massively swelled head, believing that they are far more important than they actually are. How exactly this newfound sense of self-importance affects their behavior is up to them and their inborn character — some will treat the people around them as if they were dirty peasants unfit to kiss their boots, while others will be willing to grant the lesser folk they deal with with a modicum of respect for their hard work.
