For each rank of this ability you possess, you can mount one Aethertech Device to your Exoskeleton.
Mounting a Device to the Exoskeleton requires a Short Rest's worth of work to install. You can uninstall a mounted Device as part of the process of installing its replacement.
Once a Device is installed on a Hardpoint, its effective Bulk is reduced to 0, as the Exoskeleton supports all of its weight. It also folds up with the Exoskeleton, disappearing into an extradimensional space and not increasing the Bulk of the Exoskeleton’s packed-up form.
You are always counted as wielding a Device mounted on a Hardpoint while you are wearing your Exoskeleton, and do not need to hold it in your hand(s) to use it, or to use your hands to Reload it.
An Aethertech Device that is mounted on a Hardpoint cannot function without being Linked to your Aether Core; if you remove the Link, it stops functioning entirely until the Link is restored.
