An organization of monster- and bounty-hunters, the Hearthwatch is a multi-national mercenary association that has accumulated a wide collection of bestiaries and a deep expertise in the vanquishing of dangerous beasts.
The Hearthwatch has strict rules on involving itself in politics and military engagements: never group up into bands of more than 5 or 6 members, stay as far away from involving yourself in politics as possible, and never take part in organized military actions, even as an independent contractor.
Note to Players: The Hearthwatch accepts anyone, and places few demands on its members outside of “if you take a contract, fulfill it.” The biggest restriction you’d face if you choose to join the Hearthwatch is that you would not be allowed to join in any conflicts (both battles and skirmishes) against another nation’s armed forces, and would face severe sanctions if you did choose to violate the Watch’s Law Of Neutrality. This restriction does not apply to any combat against cultist forces, however, so don’t feel like you have to avoid battles or skirmishes entirely, just be aware of who you’re fighting against before you go onto the field.
