Every shade and folk under the sun. Humans make up a majority of the population of most nations, with the exceptions of the Faen’miir Queendom and Sunderwyl Republic, whose populations are primarily Fae and a mixture of Fae and Dwarf, respectively.

Q: Wait, the other lineages all get interesting roleplaying effects or abilities. Why would I ever want to play a human?

A: Two reasons:

  1. Humans don’t have any requirements to wear face paint to represent which lineage they have, nor do you need to worry about prosthetics like ears, horns, or whatever. This makes humans out-of-character easier to play, just because you-the-player don’t have to deal with the aesthetic trappings of your lineage.
  2. Humans have the advantage of versatility: by using the Our Potential Yet Unforged ritual, a human can gain the roleplay effects (and markings) of another lineage for the duration of an event, allowing you to pick and choose which lineage you want to be, whether for aesthetic, roleplay, or story reasons.
