Some opponents will have loot, either treasures carried on their person or valuable parts that you can cut out of them. To collect these items, approach a downed enemy, touch them with a weapon for 15 seconds, and call out “Loot!” to collect any lootable items they have.

If you are interrupted during the 15-second looting timer (i.e. someone attacks you, you make an attack, you cast a spell, you consume an alchemical item, etc.), you must restart the looting process all over again.

You only need to lightly make contact with a downed enemy to loot them; please do not strike them with your weapon or otherwise cause discomfort to the person playing the NPC while you are looting them.

All loot will be in the form of lammies (for enchanted items, alchemical items, or unique items) or resource tokens, and will be kept in a small pouch handed to the person playing an NPC.

Some NPCs will have a secondary pouch of loot that can only be collected with a particularly thorough search; to collect this, you must search them (touch them with a weapon) for at least 2 minutes before the person playing them will hand the item to you.

The people playing NPCs are under no obligation to inform you of whether or not they are carrying anything lootable, or whether you have collected everything that is possible to loot from them. It is up to you the player to remember to loot the NPCs you kill or find.

You are not allowed to loot physical props such as weapons, shields, or armor from downed enemies, only the items contained in the designated loot pouch(es); if you do attempt to loot someone’s weapon or shield, they (the person playing that dead character) have every right to tell you to leave it alone. If you do pick up such a prop on the battlefield, however, please bring it to Wheelhouse so that it can be placed in the Lost And Found.
