You have been granted title to and management of an ore mine somewhere in your nation. Some of the output of the facility - in the form of metal ingots and Ironmarks or Silvermarks - is yours to do with as you please.
When you first gain your Mine, the Province where it is located determines whether it is a Lightstone Mine (producing Mithryl, Luminium, and Silvermarks) or a Darkstone Mine (producing Tenebrite, Adamant, and Ironmarks). Both sets of resources have their own uses in crafting Enchanted items and fulfilling National Resource Quests.
A Mine starts at Level 10, and its output can be increased or decreased by changing its Level, whether permanently or temporarily.
You can increase your Mine’s Level permanently (”upgrading” it) by bringing 3 Wodemarks, 5 Dragonbone, and 3 Aether Crystals to Wheelhouse. You can only upgrade your Mine once per event, and the cost of Upgrading it goes up by +3 Wodemarks and +5 Dragonbone for every level your Mine is above 10.
Some catastrophic events can permanently decrease your Mine’s level. Repairing the damage caused by such an event requires the expenditure of a flat 3 Wodemarks and 5 Dragonbone per level you wish to restore.
