When you gain a rank of this feat, choose a Martial Spell Technique that you know that has the Attack tag that can be cast with only 1 Major Action.
When an ability (whether yours or one used by someone else) would allow you to make a weapon Strike, you can instead use the Technique upgraded by this feat to make that attack. You must use the version of the Technique that requires only 1 Major Action to cast when you do so. You can apply Metamagics to such a casting of the Technique as normal. If the ability that grants you the Reaction specifies that you must make a Melee Weapon Strike, you cannot apply the Reach Spell metamagic to the Technique when you use it for that Reaction.
You can gain a maximum number of ranks of this Upgrade equal to the ranks of the New Technique feat that you possess, applying it to a different Technique you know each time you gain a new rank of the Upgrade.
You can take a maximum of 2 Upgrades affecting the New Technique feat each Tier, instead of the normal maximum of 1.
