A Reliquary is a Standard that confers no benefits to the one holding it and has no place on the battlefield. Many Reliquaries offer benefits to rituals or somehow grant exceptional abilities to form or take advantage of the magical bonds within a Band. They can take many forms; quite a few are holy idols (which gave the class of item its name) or arcane grimoires, though some are proper flag-like Standards.
