Roil The Aetheric River

Curses and Sorceries depend on a steady flow of Aether in their surroundings to function, twisting it and shaping it into some kind of supernatural effect. This curse churns up the flow of Aether across a massive area, fraying all but the most well-constructed regional magics and preventing new ones from being applied, at the cost of also disrupting the productivity of any kind of facility that produces Aether Crystals.

You target one Province with this ritual. You must deliver the Curse Card for this ritual to an Envoy of the Nation containing that Province or to a Veilwalker whose Enterprise is located within that Province for it to have an effect.

All Aether Vents, Congregations, and Towers based in the Province suffer -4 Levels.

All other Regional and Provincial Curses and all Regional and Provincial Sorceries affecting territory within the Province are dispelled and their effects immediately end.

Other Curses and Sorceries cannot be placed upon the Province or Regions within the Province until the effects of this Curse end.

Mages suffer nausea and dizziness when they perform magic within the Province.

The effects of this ritual last until the end of the next Confluence or until the Curse is broken, whichever comes first. You cannot end the effects of this Curse prematurely on your own. If this ritual is performed targeting a Province while a previous instance of it is still active on that Province, its Ritual Power is reduced to 20.

If this ritual is performed outside of Veilguard, its required Ritual Power is quadrupled.
