Time is not a river to be sailed upon, but a great skein of Fate and coincidence. It can be cut, woven, and stitched like thread if one knows how. Swords halt in mid-swing until their target has a chance to doge, spears twist in their wielders’ hands to just miss, and arrows pass through bodies without harm. You target one Force with this ritual. You must deliver the Curse Card for this ritual to an Envoy of the Nation which controls that Force or to a character who has been granted command of that Force for it to have an effect.
Each Action that the targeted Force takes has its Initiative value changed to Slow.
The targeted Force takes -50% less damage from all sources.
The effects of this ritual last until the end of the next Round of Downtime, until you remove the Curse, or until the Curse is broken, whichever comes first.
If this ritual is performed outside of Veilguard, its required Ritual Power is quadrupled.
