Lorekeepers and fervent followers of Tholmar, the Vault Keepers are an order of librarians, mages, and warriors dedicated to keeping the records of ages past safe and recording all new knowledge so that future generations might avail themselves of it.

The Tholmic Vault in the mountains north of Hammerhall is their headquarters and where they store the majority of their lore, though they maintain a number of secondary fortress-libraries across the continent that hold copies of the tomes inside the Vault, just in case disaster should overcome all of the protections laid on the central library.

The Vault Keepers have had one of their member embedded in the royal court of Queen Titania of the Faen’miir Queendom for the past four centuries. Few know exactly why or how this arrangement came about, and neither the Vault Keepers nor the Queen have been forthcoming on the subject.

Note to Players: The Vault Keepers are an NPC organization; you can work for them as a contractor, but you cannot be an actual member of the organization. They exist as a source of lore and information for you to seek answers from, do quests for, and build a working relationship with, but they are not themselves a valid organization for your character to belong to.
