A root grows, year upon year, slowly breaking apart the stone beneath it. Just so are the artifices of mortals rendered sand before the winds of time and nature. Through magical arts and ritual you call upon the green growing things to tear down that which mortals built, cracking foundations and eroding grand edifices. Ruin and decay that would normally occur over decades of neglect is accomplished within months, as plants overtake great stone monuments and turn them into broken shells.
You target one Region with this ritual. You must deliver the Curse Card for this ritual to an Envoy of the Nation containing that Region or to a Veilwalker whose Enterprise is located within the Province that contains the targeted Region for it to have an effect.
The targeted Region permanently loses one Infrastructure Trait (such as Causeway or Fortification).
Plants in the Region grow profusely but never in ways that are useful for mortals. Weeds and brambles in particular proliferate, causing much frustration for foresters and farmers.
You can overcharge this ritual; for every additional +25 Ritual Power you add to the ritual, you can target +1 additional Region that is contiguous with at least one other targeted Region, destroying the same Infrastructure Trait in all of them.
If this ritual is performed outside of Veilguard, its required Ritual Power is quadrupled.
