You place a curse upon a target character.
The target cannot benefit from Sorceries, Elixirs, or Tonics. Any active Personal Sorcery, Elixir, or Tonic effects on them are immediately dispelled when the curse is applied to them. If a Personal Sorcery is cast upon them while they suffer from this curse, the ritual finishes as normal but the Sorcery is immediately dispelled from them. If they consume an Elixir or Tonic, they gain any instantaneous effects from that item but any lasting effects that it would grant to them are immediately dispelled.
The effects of this ritual last until the end of the next event, until you choose to remove it, or until the curse is broken.
Roleplaying Effects
The target cannot stand even the idea of alcohol, let alone the taste. Any alcoholic beverage that passes their lips makes them feel extremely nauseous, and the thought of ingesting one causes an instinctive and visceral sense of disgust. However, when the target drinks relatively pure water, they become intensely inebriated for a short time, without any of the physical after-effects of drinking alcohol like hangovers.
