An expansive, incredibly rugged chain of mountains extends for what seems like forever. Their dagger-sharp peaks are snow-capped and the air quickly grows thin enough to kill as one ascends, but the magical ice of their glaciers is crystal-clear and remains frozen for years so long as it doesn’t leave the continent of Sundland. The caverns that worm their way through the mountains are crisscrossed by mineral ore veins in complete disregard for “natural” geology, and hold an unnatural abundance of gemstones. The surface of the mountains is home to a unique ecology of creatures, some of which are not found anywhere else in the known world; rockwyvern-hide in particular is an incredibly valuable commodity, due to the danger inherent in bringing such beasts down and getting them out of the Labyrinth safely.
