Asmarta, the Seer, patron Saint of Divination and Thaumaturgy

Asmarta, patron Saint of Divination and Thaumaturgy, whose whispered insights bring clarity to the minds of seers, diviners, and mages of all sorts.

Images & Symbols

Asmarta’s symbols make heavy use of lunar imagery, particularly half, gibbous, and full moons, and her followers believe that prayers to her during the full moon bring revelation, clarity, and power.

Owls are the other icon of her faith, honoring the antlered owl Spirit who guided her during her journeys as a mortal. There is no set species or appearance of the owl in her religious imagery; any kind of owl will do, antlered or not.

Appearance

Asmarta always appears wearing a pale blindfold that has an opalescent shimmer to it, with long-faded scars visible around the edges of the cloth. Her hair is a vibrant black that glitters like the night sky, but otherwise she’s a rather plain-looking middle-aged Draugr woman with pale olive skin.
