You place a curse upon five target characters, who must all be present for the entire performance of the ritual.
The targets suffer from the Weakened condition. This condition cannot be removed through any means until the target is freed from the curse.
The effects of this ritual last until the end of the next event or until the curse is broken. You cannot remove this curse from the targets prematurely.
At the start of the next Round of Downtime, a Cultist Cell of your choice takes 50 damage. If this damage destroys the Cultist Cell, the targets of this ritual each gain 2 Aether Crystals in their player packets at the start of the next event.
This ritual can only be performed in Veilguard or a site that is particularly holy to Vallaros. If it is performed outside of Veilguard, the Ritual Power requirement is quadrupled.
Roleplaying Effects
The targets have vivid dreams of slaughter and mayhem which leave them exhausted in the morning. Those who have combat-related trauma often experience flashbacks upon waking, and those who have not experienced the blood and violence of the battlefield before often describe the dreams as nightmares. Only those who actively enjoy bloodshed are not bothered by the dreams, but even they find that they can never experience a properly restful night’s sleep while under the curse.
