Impulse Hammer

This Device is attached to a Cestus, Greatsword, Maul, Great Axe, Warhammer, Battle Axe, Halberd, Crowsbeak, or Poleaxe as part of its creation. It cannot be detached from that weapon without destroying the Device. Its bulk is added to the weapon’s for the purposes of encumbrance. It grants the Impulse Strike ability to the creature wielding the weapon it is attached to.

You cannot mount this Device onto an Exoskeleton’s Hardpoint.

You make a Strike with the weapon that the Device is attached to. If the strike deals damage, you gain +1 Bonus Die to your damage roll, and it deals Arcanite damage instead of Weapon damage. This ability counts as a (very temporary) Weapon Infusion effect, and does not function if you are already benefiting from a Weapon Infusion.

If the Device is loaded, you can use this ability in place of a melee weapon Strike granted by another ability.
