Vintner’s Doom

• Formula: 1x Bluethistle, 2x Shivering Crow, 3x Frostcreeper, 1x Tzacanthe

Upon receiving this Poison Card, the following effects occur:

1. Immediately upon being Poisoned:
   • The target suffers from the Weakened condition. This can be Cleansed as usual, but doing so does not prevent the other effects of the Poison from occurring.
   • The target suffers from shakes and palsy, finding it hard to hold things steady or walk straight.
2. One hour after being Poisoned:
   • The target suffers from the Stunned condition, losing the ability to control their limbs and becoming unable to walk or defend themselves.
3. Two hours after being Poisoned:
   • The target dies of asphyxiation as their lungs and heart stop working.

The Kallahan’s Opus potion immediately ends all of the effects and progression of this Poison.

If the target consumes a Timeless Voyage, Golden Morning Dew, or Viper’s Kindness while under the effects of this Poison, they immediately die of cardiac arrest.

One of the critical (and unfortunately quite common) ingredients in this concoction is a type of fungus that grows on untended grapes and becomes virulently toxic when immersed in alcohol. Vintners know to wash their grapes well before letting them begin to ferment, and poisoners know how to collect and preserve the fungus for this concoction.
