Bows

A bow or crossbow must have less than 30 pounds of draw weight.

Who Can Use A Bow

You must have the Archer Ability to use a Bow or Crossbow.

What You Can Do With A Bow

If you hit a target with a bow or crossbow shot on a location that is not protected by Heavy Armor, they suffer the effects of the Impale call automatically. You do not need to call Impale for your shot to have this effect, though you may do so at your discretion to call attention to the fact that you hit someone.

Even if your shot hits a piece of Heavy Armor, which negates the Impale effect, the target still takes 1 point of damage from the shot.
