The Military Unit chooses a Region that lacks the Conquered Trait, and engages a Cultist Cell located there in battle.
The commander of the Military Unit can choose whether to engage one-fifth, one-quarter, one-third, one-half, or the entirety of the Cultist Cell when they send in this order; the default assumption will be the entirety of the Cultist Cell’s forces, if no other option is specified. During the engagement, the Cultist Cell’s effective Base Combat Strength is reduced to the selected fraction of its normal value, but the damage it takes is reduced to that fraction as well.
For example, if a Cultist Cell with a BCS of 400 is targeted with this action and the commander of the Military Unit chooses to face only half of the cultist cell’s forces, the engagement will be calculated as if the effective BCS of the Cultist Cell was only 200, but all damage dealt to the Cultist Cell as a result of the engagement will be halved.
The Military Unit’s commander gains 120 Scales at the start of the next event, or 160 Scales if the Military Unit dealt more than 30 damage to its target.
