Paired Weapons are magic items, consisting of a paired set of either a Rod and a Medium Weapon, two Medium Weapons, or two Rods. Both are enchanted by the process of creating the item, and the pair’s Enchantment stops functioning if either of the two are Shattered.
You must have the Armsmaster Ability to use a Paired set of Medium Weapons.
You must have either the Abjurer and Warrior Abilities or the Armsmaster and one of the Arcanist or Mystic Abilities to use a Paired set of a Medium Weapon and a Rod.
You must have the Abjurer Ability to use a Paired set of Rods.
You only gain the benefits of a set of Paired Weapons when you’re wielding both of them; they grant you no benefits when you are wielding one of them and a Shield, or if one of them is holstered on your person and not in your hand.
