Just as the river washes over stones, wearing them away, so to do the warriors of the Crushing Wave flow through a conflict. While their sister army prefers direct confrontation, the Nami are specialists in asymmetric warfare owing to their long history of guarding against fleeting raiders from the Jadefang sea and overwhelming invasions from Vauldan. As such they are composed primarily of nautiloi companies, such as the Peltastes and Thorakitai, and supplemented by warbands of zodians. That is not to say they are without regular troops, as the hoplites and hetairoi of the Teichistai who man the considerable fortifications of Seiklos are considered part of the Nami.
