Drunessos is a lush and verdant island, its mountains and valleys covered in emerald meadows and forests, broken up by the occasional spring-fed lakes and streams heading to the ocean. Its capital Temenos is the religious hub of the League, with more temples per acre than any other city in the Continent, and shrines to Druathos and Oruunos are scattered across the island in the most scenic parts of the forests and dells. The Elder Root, an ancient cypress tree that is one of the most popular pilgrimage sites in the Druathan faith, grows in the center of the Verdant Acropolis in the center of the island.
