Puerta del Sur, also known as simply “Southgate,” has been the least influenced by other nations throughout the Archipelago’s history, weathering storm, invasion, and Churning with equal stubborn pride and fierce courage. The region was once the capital of Amethras, though all but a few of the great palaces and temples were lost beneath the waves during the Perdition at the end of the Godswar; now it is the primary commercial and industrial hub for those who sail to and from the Southern Seas in search of adventure and profit.
