Summer’s Glory Withers In Autumn

This ritual makes a mockery of the autumn harvest, reaping life-force from the earth and the green growing things it supports and redirecting the stolen vitality to soldiers and armies. It is forbidden by nearly every druidic sect across the Continent, but thanks to its sheer utility in getting armies back into the fight it has been used by Veilwalkers at least once during every Churning since it was first created.

You target one Province with this ritual. You must deliver the Curse Card for this ritual to an Envoy of the Nation containing that Province or to a Veilwalker whose Enterprise is located within that Province for it to have an effect.

All Farms, Forests, and Herb Gardens based in the Province suffer -4 Levels.

All Forces (allied, neutral, and enemy alike) within the Province recover an additional +20 HP at the start of the Recovery Phase of the next Round of Downtime.

People within the Province feel unusually healthy and vigorous, but their crops and livestock grow sickly and fail to produce as much food and other goods as usual.

The effects of this ritual last until the end of the next Confluence, until you remove the Curse, or until the Curse is broken, whichever comes first. If this ritual is performed targeting a Province while a previous instance of it is still active on that Province, its Ritual Power is reduced to 20.

If this ritual is performed outside of Veilguard, its required Ritual Power is quadrupled.
