Telaralia

Telaralia is a land of forests and rivers in the Empire’s heartland, mostly tamed by mortal civilization but still making it the wildest part of the Empire. The capital city of Cirrane sits astride one of the main river arteries of the Empire, sending timber and other goods from the surrounding Sylfiare Forest downriver to Astror and the seaport of Lucenastu. The towns and cities in and around the Sylfiare produce massive amounts of food, cloth, and timber, all of which flows back and forth along the many rivers in the Province. The products of Hammerhall’s forges flow down the rivers from the mountains, providing the tools and weapons needed to keep the Telaralian economy humming.

The Telaralians are a unique blend of rustic and urban; they revere the forests and rivers of their home, but they are still Vauldans to their core, and are constantly striving to build up their communities and their own personal prosperity through trade and honest work. The Sylfiare and the farming communities of Telaralia are dotted with many shrines to Druathos and the Green Gods’ Saints, but the mile-markers along the rivers each feature a small shrine to Bakharos and Tekatli, the Saint of Commerce. Cirrane and the other settlements of the Province all feature much more greenery and a greater number and variety of parks and gardens than those found in other Vauldan Provinces, making them a haven to many foreigners from less-urbanized nations.
